Five for Friday

It's been awhile since I've linked up!
So it will be more like Five for the Month of May.
PASS Parade
The Friday before our state testing we made t-shirts!
PreK through 2nd grade lined the hallways
3rd through 5th grade paraded through as everyone cheered and clapped!
They played music over the intercom!!
It was such a great way for our students to know the whole school was supporting them!
It was so much fun!!
We made a couple of cute Mother's Day crafts!
This was such an easy craft!
One piece of bulletin border and paper for students to trace their hands!
 Flower Pens
I hot glued a fake flower on the top of a pen and students used floral tape to wrap them.
We of course made cards and decorated a gift bag!
May 10th was my birthday!!
My sweet older brother surprised me with roses!!
I had dinner with my family that night!
My mom made my favorite strawberry cake!!
A little help blowing out all those candles!
Never waste icing!!
Since the big state testing is over, I get to teach anything I want!
I love this time of the year for this very reason!
We've been learning how to play Chess!
We use a program called First Move.
The kids are loving it!!!
I can't wait to surprise them with their own chess sets at the end of the year!
 2 more Fridays till summer!!
Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!!!!!

  7. Did I remember to wish you a Happy Birthday? I think I did, but if not...Happy Birthday again! Lol!!!
LOVE the shirt idea! It definitely helps having everyone supporting!!! We do a Fancy Nancy Parade before our state writing test where the 4th graders dress up and parade around with a fancy vocabulary word poster. I love pep rallies. They make me miss high school! You get out the same day as us I think!
